A lot of Specialist attended the forum among them: manufacturers from all Arab countries and specialist from regional & Arab specialist organizations. Petroleum, Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical companies representatives, environment specialist, businessmen, investors, scientist and all who is interested… Within this Framework, the First Arab Forum for Chemical and Petrochemical Industries was opened in Damascus on Monday 28th of April. The forum opened with speech of Mr. Maher Abdul Hak – General Manager of Alsalam for Int'l Conferences (organizers), Mr. Zaher Daaboul – vice president of Arab Federation of Chemical and Petrochemical Industries in Syria, Mr. Rashid Alio, Council of Arab Ec. Unity, Her Excellency Ms.Narmin Othman Hussein – Iraqi Environment minister, H.E. Dr. Eng. Fouad Issa Al-Jouni – Syrian Minister of Industries. H.E. Dr. Eng. Fouad Issa Al-Jouni – Syrian Minister of Industries opened the specialist exhibition. List of Speakers was: H.E. Dr. Eng. Fouad Issa Al-Jouni – Syrian Minister of Industries. Many Syrian, Arab and Foreign experts from specialized Arab and regional organizations took part in the tow-day event, in addition to environment specialists and representatives of oil, gas, chemical and petrochemical companies.
