The 5th ICT Security forum
At Dedeman Hotel-Damascus  on 27-28/7/2009 

Under the patronage of Dr. Imad Al- Sabouni, Minister of Communications and Technology, the 5th ICT Security Forum in Syria was organized by Al-Salam for International Conferences and Exhibitions in collaboration with the Syrian Computer Society on 27-28/7/2009.

The Forum was attended by more than 700 ICT experts and specialists from Syria and other Arab and foreign countries.(Malaysia, germany, Romania, France, Singapore,Greece,Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal,United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunis, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, in addition to Syria)

During the Forum, many lectures were delivered on Internet and Network Security & Monitoring Systems,Data Protection and Encryption,Security and Privacy ,Prevention of Electronic Crimes ,E-signature (Law and Application),Response Centers for Computer Emergency ,Standards and Evaluation of Information Security ,E-Commerce and Security of Banking Information System s ,Identity and Access management of IT Systems ,Case Studies of Successful Government IS projects ,Social Effect of Information Security ,Wireless Communication and Mobile Security..
